What Words To Use in a Greeting Card

What should the message be in a greeting card?

Do you ever struggle with what to write in your handmade cards before sending?

A Google search of what to write in a handmade greeting card will give you an amazing number of sources. Specifically, about 1,020,000 results. I don’t know about you, but that seems a bit overwhelming so I thought I would bring your attention to some Stampin’ Up!® stamp sets that give us coordinating sentiments for card fronts and the inside of cards. If you prefer to not write a lot of your cards, these may help fill up some of that white space.

Special Celebrations on page 23 of the 2017 Annual Catalog covers new babies, love, weddings, birthdays and thank you. I particularly like the Happy Birthday. Recreating the flowers and leaves on this card below is easy by adding Blooms & Wishes stamp set on page 139.

Flourishing Phrases on page 24 of the 2017 Annual Catalog covers marriage, sympathy, simple note, illness, thank you and encouragement. This stamp set also coordinates with Flourish Thinlits Dies (p. 216).

Better Together on page 51 of the 2017 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog has some cute images and covers

similar events as the first two but also has a Merry Christmas combination.

Five For All on page 75 of the 2017 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog provides a little levity to birthday cards.

I hope you found some good options to sending your cards without stressing over what to write inside. I am certain you can find additional stamp sets that provide both front and interior coordinating sentiments. I would love to hear your thoughts.
